Gig outfit

I recently had a week where I relived my teenage years. Growing up, I loved music and going to live gigs, where I would enjoy the music from the crowds.

As I grew older, I realised that the seated area was more my style, away from the younger crowds. So whenever an artist from my youth came to London, seating down made it a lot more manageable to go to these gigs.

Recently, two of my favourite childhood bands were in town, over the course of a week: 30 Seconds to Mars and Evanescence (I know you guys all know the latter), so I of course had to dress up for them. Particularly for Evanescence, as they were doing a really beautiful sit down orchestra set.

This is an outfit we've all seen before, in Paris and in Lisbon. It's pretty much the outfit I've worn throughout winter where I've wanted to make an effort, but mainly have also wanted to stay warm

Wearing:
Jumper - Great Plains
Jeans - Oasis
Shoes - Kurt Geiger

Have you done any gigs recently?

I actually did go to a concert recently, which is pretty rare for me. As a teenager I would go to see a lot of local bands but I can still count on my hands the number of major acts I've seen in concert - very few come through my hometown, so I often see bands on the road when I'm also travelling. (Mostly in Paris, actually.) I recently saw LP in Washington DC and she put on the most incredible show.
