I recently spent a lovely long weekend in Lisbon and I absolutely fell in love with the city. The weather wasn't as good as we expected, but we made the best out of the whole situation (mainly with a great umbrella) and made sure we had a lovely holiday.
Because of the weather, my fashion choices were more on the practical side, than actually being fashionable. I was told beforehand, because of all the hills, stairs and cobbles, not to wear heels at all, and I'm so glad I took that advice.
Lisbon is a city that's meant to be seen by foot - it's such a perfect place to just walk around, get lost and discover really cool place.
Day one consisted of:
Have you visited Lisbon before?

I really do feel like I have to get back to Lisbon soon. Although I saw all the major tourist attractions like the Torre de Belem and Castelo de Sao Jorge, I think I missed a lot of the cooler parts that are a bit more hidden.
