I am very proud of my bookshelf. Despite having a kindle, I still love buying actual books. While I like reading gripping novels (currently reading Girl on the Train - so good) and classics, I do like to indulge in some good fashion-focussed books, perfect for the coffee table. Here are some on my wishlist:
Why Not Me: Mindy Kaling
I love Mindy, every since the days of her on The Office, and I was a huge fan of 'Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me'. When I found out about her latest book, I got really excited. I am so excited to read this and I think it's exactly what I need to read at this stage in my life. I've already reserved my copy for when it comes out.
Alexander McQueen
I went to the Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A and thought it was incredible! The complimenting book looks epic. It looks at the life of McQueen and includes stunning imagery. I can't wait to get me hands on this book.
How to be Parisian: Sophoe Mas & Audrey Diwan
You can't deny that Parisian women are very chic. Written by Parisienne's, it's full of tips and helps with everyday dilemma's. It's meant to be full of humour and looks like it's definitely worth a pick up.
Blow by Blow: Detmar Blow
No denying that Blow is one of the most iconic women in fashion and this book looks at her tragic life. Her life was filled with drama and her career was very interesting. I saw a documentary on her and I wanted to know more. This book looks perfect to find out more about her life.
Fashion Fairytales
I can't believe I didn't know this was a thing. I'm going to order these as soon as I can. Christian Lacroix, Manolo Blahnik & Diane von Furstenberg have their stories intertwined with classic fairytales and they sound epic!
The Woman I Wanted To Be: Diane von Furstenberg
Probably one of the most inspirational women in the fashion industry today so this book is bound to be filled with inspiration - perfect for any one who wants to get into the fashion industry or wants to to pretty much be successful.
Prada
This book just looks gorgeous. It's full of images of the collections and looks at decades worth of designs.

I love books - and especially fashion books because they're fun to read but pretty, too ;) My absolute favourites are Parisian Chic by Ines de la Fressange and The Little Dictionary of Fashion by Christian Dior.
