TK Maxx; QVC; Abercrombie & Kent; Fitness First

A round up of a couple of events I've been to recently. I've not gone to as many as I used to, so I'm fitting the most interesting ones around and after work.

TK Maxx

TK Maxx have recently opened a new store in East London, right opposite the Gherkin. It's placed just off Liverpool street and is full of some amazing deals, with designer goods being up to 60% off. I was invited to the preview evening the evening before it opened up and I had a great time. I loved checking out some designer products, and the range of pieces was huge. Discounted was everything from beautiful dresses and killer Michael Kors heels, to handbags and beauty products.
The store is actually a stone throw away from my workplace, and is open a bit late, so I'll definitely be popping by after work again to get some shopping done.
I'd actually never been into a TK Maxx store before, so I was very impressed by the variety and discounts! I will definitely be venturing in there more often.

I was also invited to check out Libertine, the new jewellery collaboration between Giles Deacon and QVC. QVC has some amazing jewellery online, and the new collaboration fits in perfectly. The collection was full of some really unique pieces that definitely stand out when you wear them. There were some really quirky designs, and a lot of use of colour. Despite the boldness of some of the pieces, everything looks so wearable yet fun.

There are clear popular pieces and, on the night, the seahorse necklace was a firm favourite for nearly everyone, including myself.

Abercrombie & Kent

For those that don't know, Abercrombie & Kent are a luxury travel brand. I didn't know much about the brand before I was contacted, so was really excited to go to their Peru inspired evening. They've opened their travel boutique near Bank, and it's a lovely store.
The evening was inspired by one of their incredible destinations, and it was a lovely introduction to both the company and to Peru. The evening was very well put together, with some delicious Peruvian food, and there was even a cooking demonstration from Martin Morales, from Ceviche - a Peruvian restaurant. The food was incredible, and I can't wait to go over and have a proper meal there.
I definitely want to go on holiday again, and can't wait to experience some new cultures and food.

Diversity for Fitness First

While working out isn't one of my favourite hobbies, I love it when there are some fun classes, that make getting into shape slightly more fun. Dance group, Diversity, have teamed up with Fitness First, for 'Diversity Street Dance' that will launch across gyms in April.
The dance has been choreographed by Diversity leader, Ashley Bango, and is full of energetic street dance moves and a high powered routine, giving an all body workout.

We got to see an exclusive look at the dance, which is suitable for all levels, and it looks like so much fun to do. There are three different routines, each for a different genre of music, which aim to engage the mind and body. The aim is for the dances to be for everyone, even people like me who once tripped over my own feet and into a wall, during a salsa class. I was so impressed by the dance, and I was delighted to be able to see a live dance by Diversity themselves. Those boys are very VERY talented, and definitely worth a watch. They preformed at Spitalfields Market, and the crowd loved every second of it.
