Worn More Than Once

I wore this outfit 2 nights in a row, both part of the iTunes Festival at The Roundhouse, Camden. The first night I went to see Linkin Park (who were surprisingly good. You can see my review here). And the second night I went to see Gwyneth Paltrow discuss her new cookbook.

Nope, I wasn't embarrassed to go to the same place 2 nights in a row, in exactly the same outfit. I'm wearing my Henry Holland dress and trusted Diechmann Shoes. I saw trusted, I mean perfectly awesome, moulded to my feet boots. I wear them A LOT.

This is me brooding. Not a look I can pull off for too long, before cracking up in laughter.

The Gwyneth Paltrow talk was also really interesting, and defintiely one of the more awesome evenings I've had out. It was held in a small studio, and had no more than 40 people there. Jonathan Ross was interviewing her, and I'm pretty sure I squealed from excitement when I found out, as I LOVE him. For those who don't know who he is, he's a television and radio presenter in the UK, and is hilarious!! And he's a lot funnier in person and really cuddly looking.

Gwyneth came out and looked gorgeous in red skinny jeans and a plaid blazer and seems like the nicest person ever. She discussed how she's a huge foodie, but maintains her figure by mainly cooking at home and excersing, rather than dieting like crazy. Her new cookbook, Notes From The Kitchen Table, contain a lot of family recipes and food she's experimented with. She discussed the importance of healthy food and how she's got her children started young when it comes to eating good food. She wants her kids to grow up in the kitchen with her, which is fantastic and I love how much importance she placed on spending time with family.

She read a few excerpts from the book, and one or two were pretty sad. She discussed her father, who passed away, and how he had a huge impact on her life, both in and out of the kitchen, and how they shared their last meal together. I did, however, love how she discussed how eating together, with loved ones, is a great bonding  experience, and how her favourites nights have been sitting around the kitchen table, just talking and eating. I'm a huge foodie as well and can definitely relate to everything she said about food and family.

So yeah, Gwyneth is my new inspiration. You can watch coverage of the iTunes Festival ITV on Thursday and Friday at 10, during July or catch live streaming/more information here.
You can also buy the book at Waterstones.

You look beautiful :) Those boots look really comfortable and trendy.

I've always loved Gwyneth. Her website is awesome, recently she shared all her favourite beauty products that are French. I ended up buying all when I was in France and love every single one of them.

That is the perfect outfit! You look so thin as well. You are so beautiful!
Everytime I learn more about Gweneth the more I like her. And red skinny jeans rock. When I was 12 I had a pair...and LOVED them.

It's always nice to discover that some mega a-list person is actually a human being underneath. And advocating actually eating food! Amazing.

I have serious boot envy, I can never find knee high boots that work on me. Yours look stunning! And props to you for working your outfit hard, I am so bad for wearing the same combinations again and again. But hey, if it works, don't change it! xx
