Yesterday morning, Karl Lagerfeld put on an amazing fashion show in Paris for Paris Fashion Week. He managed to put up a huge Chanel hay barn in the middle of the Grand Palais.
Picture from Coutorture

There were cocktail dresses, which had poppy prints and netted black skirts. Not to mention a lot of the models were in high heeled clogs!! ut I really am loving the netted skirts and some of the dresses were absolutely stunning.
I really wish that I could show the whole collection because everything was stunning and exactly what you'd expect from Chanel. Unfortunately, that would be one photo heavy post, and I'm not a fan of doing them, so here are a few of my favourites:
And this is BY FAR my favourite piece!!! I love how the black and white fit so well together and how the dress is just so casual and classy. Its exactly what you'd expect from a Chanel show:
Karl Lagerfeld also managed to get front row guests such as Prince and Claudia Schiffer, as well as getting Lily Allen to perform, by rising up from a trapdoor in the stage.
Mr Lagerfeld even made an appearance, in jeans, as he walked around the barn.
The ending, apparently, was quite 'questionable' and cheeky as 3 of the models had a roll about in the hay.

I've been enjoying this show too!! Karl knows how to make an impact, and that black and white dress, your favourite, is mine too!!
i'm saving photos from this show into my inspiration folders. Sigh, clothes like these makes me anxiously waiting for next Spring.
Oh wow! It all looks so pretty and beautiful.
I think I am inclined to agree with your favourites.
That was a lovely post, the right decision compared to a heavy photo post I think. :)

Wow what amazing clothes - love it. I think it's amazing how every collection is different and you can really see the different influences, like country this time as you say, yet they all stay true to the chanel aesthetic.
But then it's chanel, I don't think they've ever made anything I didn't swoon over!
Hi, it's incredible, everyone did like this runway show... For sure it was very successful! ;)

Such an amazing show! It would have be incredible to see it in person.
The black and white piece is also one of my favorites. It's so Chanel!
I honestly cannot get enough of this collection. I feel as if Lily and Lagerfeld, working together, have added a few new touches to the line - entertainment-wise - that is truly unique to the fashion world. Love this! :)
Chanel continues to soar... not a dull piece in the collection. I love them all.
I LOVE CHANEL
