Style Consultation with Mlle Robot

I love Mademoiselle Robot. She has a great blog and has a great style. Her blog is filled with lots of fashion and life tips. While reading her blog, you can tell that she really knows what she's talking about. So when I saw that she had 'Mademoiselle Syle', I got really excited. Mademoiselle Style is an amazing thing and I can't wait to try it out.

Basically, Mademoiselle Robot has consultations with women who wish to reinvent their styles or just want a change. The consultations will help you feel more comfortable and confident with your style.

There are lots of different servises that you can use, not to mention, options for if you're on a budget. There is everything from a small change to your wardribe to a f
ull style consultation. Check here for a full list of sevices you can have.

I was lucky enough to ask Mademoiselle Robot some questions about her consultation.

1) How did the idea for 'Mlle Style' come about?

I have been giving fashion tips online for a while now through my blog, and a lot of people email me for more personal advice on their style. I tried a few different things on the blog, like the Mademoiselle Robot ball for example, to answer some of the questions, but I quickly realised there were limits to general answers... That's how Mademoiselle Style came about. I wanted to be able to tailor style advice to every single person who asks, and be really thorough about it.

2) What exactly does each consultation with you contain?

Every consultation is different, so you can have a look at the Services page on Mademoiselle Style for a description of each individual consultation. I even offer made to measure services where people can tell me exactly what they would like!

3) What can we expect from you personally in an average session?

I will discuss everything with you really honestly, like a best friend who would be able to tell it like it is. That's the main thing. I will also listen to what you have to say about yourself, as the main idea behind a style consultation is to make you feel better about the way you look.

4) How are your consultations different from any others?
Good question. I have never been to see a Style Consultant myself, so I am not completely sure how different they are technically. One thing I do know is that they are very "me" as I inject a bit of myself in all my projects. So don't expect a classic style consultation. I like to think that I work in a less traditional way, more organic if you like. Also, as far as fashion goes, I won't try to make my customers adopt the latest trends, I focus on them developing their own unique style.

5) What is the most important thing for you when you meet the women who come to you?
The absolute most important thing is for my customers to feel comfortable enough to be wildly honest with me about their little hang ups, lifestyles etc. I am not here to judge anyone, but to help them feel good. I know a lot of people are intimidated by style consultants, but they really shouldn't be! Before every consultation, I have in-depth conversations with my customers about themselves, so it is important to be as honest as possible for the session to be successful.

6) How would you define your own style?

Modern vintage & geeky with a twist! I love vintage clothes but am not a fan of the full on vintage look, at least not on me! My style is a pretty accurate representation of who I am basically.

7) Who is your biggest inspiration?

My grandmother, she was a really sharp but fun dresser, and my daughter, because everything I have started in the past two years was partly due to her!

So if you have a chance, this is definitely worth doing, or is a great gift for someone else. I've decieded on getting my mum a consultation for her birthday. There are so many different types of sessions you can have, that there really is something for everyone. If there isn't anything for you, you can email Mademoiselle Robot and arrange a special package. If you're in the UK, definitely try out one of her sessions. As for all you others, you can now have an online consultation with the Style Booster. Here, you can discuss your style with Mademoiselle Robot no matter where you are.

Also, if you book anything before the end of this month, any service is 50% off!!
