Benefit Concealer

I'm not a huge make up wearer. I usually just put on some eyeliner and vaseline and I'm good to go. Lately I've noticed light bags under my eyes, so I've been meaning to get a light concealer for them.
The other day, I was in the Benefit Store and decided to have a free makover, for fun. My mum and Leia
both love Benefit, so I was happy to try out all their stuff and see how it felt. The woman put concealer on me as well and it was just so good that I had to buy it. It was called 'Lyin Eyes' and it was really light and subtle, which was exactly what I wanted.

So I tried it out this morning. I wore absolutely no make up (had just woken up, so am very sorry if the picture gives you nightmares).

There was a slight, but noticable difference. (Left is Before and Right is After) When I wore it, it barely looked like I was wearing anything. It seems perfect for someone like me who likes a minimal use of make up.

Overall, I was very happy with the result and would recommend it to anyone.
But I wasn't too sure how exactly to put it on. Any tips?

What concealer do all of you use and how do you like it? Or do you have any natural
alternatives to concealer?
Or better yet: how do you guys stop getting dark circles in the first place.

I think I'm a concealer pro!

I use Benefit's Erase Paste... Apply it starting from the inner corners and work your way out. After the concealer is on, pat it in with your ring finger.

How to reduce dark circles:
- Put used teabags on your eyes for 5 mins
- Put cold slices of cucumber on your eyes for 5 mins
- Sleep 8.5 hours every night
- Almond oil, applied under your eyes at night, is also supposed to help

Can't attest to any of those because the only one I follow is the sleep!

I am really bad with concealer and am lazy when it comes to concealing the bags under my eyes...I just put on my makeup and hope for the best. Ha ha. But, I love Loreal makeup and I agree with Leia, sleep is definitely the best in regards to puffy eyes. I will have to try out your idea though!

It looks like the concealer worked nicely for you! I might have to try that out. I'm always looking for new products.

I do have very light circles underneath my eyes. Nothing that looks real bad, so I could go without makeup on them. But I use an Everyday Minerals concealer or Urban Decay's 24/7 pencil. I usually just apply them with my finger. Sometimes I use a concealer brush.

You are beautiful! (In both pics!)
For my eyes, I use Garnier's anti-puff roller which does wonders. It's really a lifesaver in the mornings for me. It's not a concealer but it gets rid of the purpleness and the puffiness.

I use Almay concealer because it doesn't break my skin out. I don't wear alot of makeup either. I usually stick with concealer, mascara, and some Burt's Bees.

The concealer you used is very subtle but effective. Seems like a good buy!

You look so pretty with or without makeup! Never heard of that makeup brand, will look into it - good post!

You look beautiful in both of the photos although you can really spot difference in the 2nd photo. I use Garnier eye-puff roll on once in a while and I don't really know if it works because I have natural eye bags( genes effect, lol!) We don't have Benefits here only Sephora and Body Shop.
